The HS-X3 brings Titan Audio’s mains cable philosophy to a more compact conductor count, maintaining the same engineering intent that defines our reference model: predictable electrical behaviour, mechanical integrity, and effective noise management.

Three-Conductor Architecture
The HS-X3 uses three individually insulated 1.5 mm conductors, each optimised for current distribution and mechanical behaviour.
Rather than increasing conductor mass without purpose, our design reflects proven practice from aerospace and military power distribution systems, where conductor arrangement and consistency are more important than size alone.
Three conductors in controlled geometry provide:
- Balanced current paths
- Reduced susceptibility to uneven internal interaction
- Lower mechanical stress per conductor
- Better high-frequency behaviour than a single bulk conductor
Each conductor is formed from high-purity OCC copper, chosen for its consistent internal structure and reliable long-term performance.
Controlled Geometry and Braided Shielding
The HS-X3 conduction cores are held in a defined spatial geometry and surrounded by a braided shielding layer.
The braid manages electromagnetic interference not by brute force, but by preserving flexibility and maintaining material integrity over time. This approach ensures effective shielding behaviour through movement and installation, reducing both external interference and internally generated noise from coupling back into the conductors.
Unified Outer Structure
The three conductors and shielding are encapsulated within a unified outer sleeve, forming a mechanically stable assembly rather than a loose bundle.
This suppresses micro-movement between conductors under load, which in turn lowers the potential for modulation-related noise.
Precision Connector System
The connectors on the HS-X3 are constructed from a high-density engineered composite selected for:
- Low electrical interaction
- High internal damping
- Structural design flexibility
The internal connector volume is not empty — it is shaped intentionally to reduce vibration and isolate the termination from mechanical stress that could otherwise degrade performance.
Radial Compression Retention System (RCRS™)
The HS-X3 employs the same radial compression retention system as the rest of the series.
A precision elastomeric interface expands uniformly into both the cable and the connector body via a calibrated retaining ring. This delivers:
- Uniform circumferential pressure
- No localised deformation
- No conductor distortion
- Long-term mechanical integrity
The result is a secure connection that does not compromise electrical or structural quality.
Integrated FFT Module
The central FFT module is a functional part of the cable’s architecture, suppressing high-frequency noise at the cable level before it reaches connected equipment.
The enclosure matches the mechanical behaviour of the connectors and the cable structure, ensuring consistent behaviour throughout the system.
Structured Cable Architecture
Rather than behaving as one uninterrupted length, the HS-X3 has a defined structural point at the FFT module. This limits the build-up and propagation of high-frequency interference while maintaining full electrical continuity.
Power flows uninterrupted.
Noise does not.
