IN OUR DNA

Trusted Process

Every product is made by hand, deliberately and with intent. We don’t believe something truly special can come from a production line or be pulled anonymously from a shelf. Mass-produced objects are efficient, but they lack connection — they can’t be felt, understood, or appreciated in the same way. Handcrafting each piece allows us to work closely with every detail, monitoring quality first-hand at every stage, not as a final check but as part of the process itself. This philosophy is embodied in our DNA-HEX pattern: a symbol of individuality, structure, and origin. Inspired by our Northern Ireland heritage from the patterns of the Giant's Causeway, the pattern represents our belief that every product carries its own identity. Just like DNA, no two pieces are truly the same. Each one is shaped by where it comes from, how it’s made, and the hands that bring it to life.

Managing director

Gary Campbell

Gary Campbell is a highly respected figure in the hi-fi industry, recognised for decades of pioneering work and an instinctive, uncompromising approach to innovation. His career began in hi-fi retail, where close, hands-on engagement with customers shaped a deep understanding of what defines a truly great product — not just technical performance, but something people genuinely connect with and want to live with. This real-world insight, combined with extensive engineering expertise and a naturally intuitive problem-solving ability, led to the creation of proprietary technologies such as FFT and NFZ, redefining approaches to noise control, signal integrity, and overall audio performance. Guided by an inherent refusal to accept convention or compromise, Gary continues to push boundaries, developing solutions that unite technical excellence with an emotionally engaging listening experience.

Creative Director

Matty Campbell

Matty Campbell represents the next generation of innovation at DGR Group, combining progressive thinking with strong technical and design foundations. His degree in Product Design at Ulster University was made possible through a prestigious scholarship funded by SSE Airtricity, awarded in recognition of the exceptional potential they saw in his work. He was the only candidate from a design background to receive the scholarship, selected for the originality and technical strength of his power distribution concepts.

While this recognition opened doors within the energy sector, Matty chose to pursue a career in audio, driven by a lifelong passion for music and a desire to make a more meaningful impact. Today, he applies the same discipline and innovation to DGR’s audio technologies, uniting engineering precision with emotional performance to help push the industry forward.
