REVIEWERS PREFERENCE Award for Anchor Plate!

We’re delighted to announce the Titanic Audio Anchor Plate Isolation Platform put through its paces by HiFi Pig — and the reaction was about as emphatic as we could have hoped for.

“Does it work? Hell, yeah!” — HiFi Pig

Designed to tackle unwanted vibration before it can interfere with the performance of your HiFi system, the Anchor Plate takes a very different approach to traditional equipment platforms.

And according to HiFi Pig, the results are anything but subtle.

More Focus. More Definition. More Music.

Tested beneath a Rega Planar 3, the Anchor Plate brought clear improvements to the overall presentation.

HiFi Pig reported greater precision and focus, tighter and better-defined bass, smoother high frequencies and an increased sense of clarity throughout the music.

But perhaps more importantly, those improvements didn't come at the expense of what makes the system enjoyable.

The character, rhythm and musical engagement of the turntable remained intact — only now with a greater sense of control, stability and sophistication.

The result was a presentation that sounded more mature, more composed and considerably more authoritative.

Designed to Control Vibration Differently

At the heart of the Anchor Plate is Titanic Audio's Tri-Axis Isolation System.

Rather than relying on one material or one form of damping to control every type of vibration, the Anchor Plate has been engineered to tackle vibration across multiple frequency ranges and directions.

Its multi-layer construction works alongside the distinctive surface geometry and internal damping system to reduce the amount of unwanted mechanical energy reaching the equipment positioned above it.

The aim is simple:

Allow the component to work in a more mechanically stable environment without changing the fundamental character of the system.

HiFi Pig clearly appreciated the thinking behind the design, but ultimately it was the sonic result that mattered.

Serious Performance Without a Huge Platform

One aspect of the Anchor Plate that also received praise was its physical design.

Rather than creating a large, visually dominant isolation platform, Titanic Audio developed the Anchor Plate to remain deliberately slim and discreet.

That means it can sit beneath a turntable, amplifier, streamer, DAC or other component without dramatically changing the appearance of a system or requiring a completely new equipment rack.

Its low-profile construction makes it easy to integrate, while the aluminium structure and carefully engineered internal layers provide the mechanical control required to do the job properly.

Not Just for Turntables

Although the HiFi Pig review focused heavily on the Anchor Plate beneath a Rega turntable, the platform itself was never designed exclusively for analogue systems.

Turntables are naturally very sensitive to vibration, so they make an obvious demonstration of what the technology can achieve.

But the same principle applies throughout a HiFi system.

Transformers, circuit boards, valves, CD mechanisms and other components can all be affected by mechanical energy.

HiFi Pig's initial experimentation with the Anchor Plate beneath other equipment suggested that its benefits could extend considerably beyond the turntable.

In fact, one of the review's few “problems” was essentially that the reviewer wanted more of them.

That's the kind of criticism we're happy to take.

A Simple Upgrade With a Significant Result

What we particularly liked about the HiFi Pig review is that the Anchor Plate wasn't treated as a product that required you to listen desperately for tiny differences.

Its effect was described in terms of greater focus, improved bass definition, smoother high frequencies and a more stable musical presentation.

Those are fundamental improvements.

And unlike changing an amplifier, cartridge or loudspeaker, the Anchor Plate doesn't require you to replace anything already in your system.

You simply allow the equipment you already own to perform in a better-controlled environment.

For Titanic Audio, that's exactly what the Anchor Plate was designed to do.

Reduce unwanted vibration. Lower its influence on the system. And allow more of the performance already there to reach the listener.

The Titanic Audio Anchor Plate Isolation Platform is available now.
